Hello, my name is Talia, I am 21 years old and a qualified personal trainer whilst studying sport and exercise science with a particular interest in biomechanics.

Fitness has always been a part of my life growing up but only recently did I discover my passion for weight training. It has been an outlet and a place for both physical and mental growth. A main goal of mine is to be able to help others discover their love for exercise as I believe that everyone can enjoy and benefit from finding a style of healthy living which works for them.

I try and use my platform on social media to demonstrate that fitness comes in all different forms and there is something out there for everyone to enjoy and thrive off without it being a burden.

FAST FACTS:

Why I started working out:
I initially started training for aesthetic reasons, I was overcoming an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise but it soon turned into so much more than physicality's and developed into an outlet and a passion.

What keeps me going:
The concept of constantly bettering myself, striving to meet new goals and finding fulfilment in daily accomplishments.

A current goal I'm working towards:
I am always striving to better myself in every way possible, I want to get as much out of life as possible.

My biggest inspiration:
My dad has always been one of my biggest inspirations, his approach to life and his work ethic is something I hugely admire and aim to replicate myself.

When I'm not training:
I love learning and reading so I spend a lot of my time listening to podcasts and reading, working on my career goals and aspirations and I also love connecting with people who have similar interests to myself on social media or spending time with friends and family.

In my gym bag:
Earphones (I can't train without music), hair band, resistance band and water bottle.

How I aim to change the world:
I aim to inspire others by demonstrating that fitness does not have to be the be all and end all, you can find a healthy balance between social life, work and keeping healthy. I also live with the chronic illness Type 1 diabetes and aim to prove to people that you shouldn't let anything hold you back from getting everything you can out of life.
